Denimo trmi, s katero je v 1980 letih neutrudno eksperimentiral z bolj ali manj uspe\u0161nimi vajami v slogu in jezil tedanjo zalo\u017ebo? Ali antologijskemu \u00bbpsihedeli\u010dnemu\u00ab dvojnemu albumu iz leta 2012, ali morda njegovemu protestu z albumom The Monsanto Years, ki s pri\u010dujo\u010dim koncertnim dvoj\u010dkom dobiva \u0161ir\u0161o, izvedbeno bolj zanimivo podobo. V boj proti gensko spremenjeni hrani (ali, \u0161e bolje, proti konglomeratom, ki slu\u017eijo novce s to nevarno novotarijo (tako pravijo zdaj, kaj pa \u010dez 20 let?)) se je podal z vsem \u017eitjem. Kot to po\u010dne ponavadi.<\/p>\n<p>Za spremljavo si je izbral bend <em>Lucasa Nelsona<\/em> (za album <em>The Monsanto Years<\/em> in pri\u010dujo\u010do turnejo je tu tudi Lucasov brat Micah, oba sta sinova Willieja Nelsona, med drugim Youngovega sotrudnika pri projektu Live Aid). Na odru pra\u0161ijo kot se spodobi, s pravo energijo, pravzaprav neprimerljivo bolje kot na studijski plo\u0161\u010di, kjer se nekako niso mogli zares izdihati. Kemija je v zvo\u010dni podobi pri\u010dujo\u010de koncertne plo\u0161\u010de docela vidna in gre ji vsa pohvala, kot tudi mojstru, da je poleg nekaterih novej\u0161ih pesmi (tudi kak\u0161na \u010disto nova se bo na\u0161la, denimo <em>Seed Justice<\/em>) odkopal pesmi, ki jih redko sli\u0161imo v njegovem repertoarju, npr. <em>Western Hero<\/em>, <em>Hippie Dream<\/em>. Tudi to ni ni\u010d novega. To je po\u010del \u017ee v 1970 in 1980 letih. \u010ceravno <em>People Want To Hear About Love<\/em> z lanskega studijskega poglavja o Monsantu br\u017e\u010das ne dosega pomnljivosti <em>After The Gold Rush<\/em>, ki jo, posodobljeno za 21. stoletje, sre\u010date na albumu kot redko predstavnico \u00bbuspe\u0161nic\u00ab, je oboje docela v kontekstu, konceptualno zelo dobro sestavljeno.<\/p>\n<p>Vendar si je mojster privo\u0161\u010dil \u00bb\u0161alo\u00ab in kot aplavze umiksal \u017eivalske zvoke in razne podobne u\u010dinke, ki ve\u010dkrat u\u010dinkujejo banalno in nepotrebno (saj vemo, v \u010dem je kle\u010d!). Morda bi jih veljalo uporabiti tu pa tam kot potrditev poante, ne pa kot poanto s\u00e1mo, saj s takim eksperimentom resni\u010dno ob\u010dinstvo, ki je tudi nekje na plo\u0161\u010di, postane nekak\u0161na psihedeli\u010dna fora oz. se znajdemo v skoraj pamukovskem stroju \u00bbidentitete\u00ab koncertne plo\u0161\u010de, sicer brihtno zami\u0161ljene, a nekolikanj nerodno izpeljane. Kar je \u0161koda. Vitalnost sicer\u0161njih izvedb, \u010de izvzamemo vse dodatke, kompenzira za vse ostalo. Kar je \u0161koda. Ker lahko \u00bbvse ostalo\u00ab \u0161e \u017eeljnemu poslu\u0161alcu v\u010dasih potre voljo za poslu\u0161anje. Kar je \u0161koda.
