Nastajal je \u0161e v predkoronskih \u010dasih, izid pa je bil prav zaradi koronskih dogodkov prestavljen s pomladi na julij. Margo Price je \u0161e vedno nekak\u0161en hipijevski, napreden okru\u0161ek Nashvilla, \u010desar je zdaj tam kar precej in borba proti konzervativnemu countryjevskemu establi\u0161mentu se nadaljuje. Sama sicer pravi, da iz tega boja izstopa in da country glasbo kot tako pu\u0161\u010da za seboj. Ostra nasprotnica Trumpa, rasizma in vseh drugih homofobnih, ksenofobnih in podobnih pojavov stopa naproti rocku, kar ji po osebnostni dr\u017ei pristoji, vendar obvelja tisto, kar smo <a href=\"https:\/\/novamuska.org\/?p=21249\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">zapisali \u017ee pri koncertni plo\u0161\u010di<\/a>: preve\u010d se trudi. Postaja Stevie Nicks, Debbie Harry in Loretta Lynn v eni osebi, le da je ta oseba nekako neprepri\u010dljiva, medla, kot tan\u010dice s fotografije na ovitku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nova glasba je nekak\u0161en soft rock, ki sicer \u017eeli biti Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty in John Prine, pa nekako ne zmore biti ne eno ne drugo ne tretje. \u017deli sporo\u010diti, da ne jebe \u017eive sile, ampak to \u017ee vemo &#8211; ni treba sporo\u010dati kar naprej in se na Instagramu fotografirati v pomanjkljivih opravah, da bi se to potrdilo vedno in vedno znova. Ja, Margo, badass si, ampak tvoja nova muzika ni tako zelo badass. Tudi glas na posnetkih in v \u017eivo je nekolikanj preve\u010d pop-countryjevsko ne\u017een in nima \u00bbnicksovske\u00ab podlage za resna ren\u010danja, ki bi jih te pesmi potrebovale, \u010de bi \u017eelele zrasti v prepri\u010djive <em>statemente<\/em>. Glavni producent plo\u0161\u010de je Sturgill Simpson, \u0161e en branitelj ognja \u00bbpravega countryja\u00ab in \u00bbamericane\u00ab, a \u010deprav je ljubljen\u010dek kritikov in tesen prijatelj dru\u017ein Price\/Ivey in Prine, njegova muzika nikakor ne dosega vi\u0161in najbolj\u0161ih predstavnikov\/ic teh zvrsti. Margo izgublja fokus in v pesmih, kot so naslovna, pa <em>Hey Child, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Wk2XR-WDqrI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stone Me<\/a> <\/em>in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=X6kQSInjvvI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Letting Me Down<\/a><\/em> postaja bolj nicksovska od Stevie, hkrati pa je v njej preve\u010d lindseyjevskosti, da bi bila \u00bbon the edge of seventeen\u00ab. Vsaj tokrat se izlet v fleetwoodovski \u00bbRumors\u00ab-pop-rock z nekaj spogledovanja pri opusu Pettyjevih Heartbreakersov ni izkazal za silen prese\u017eek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prvi dve plo\u0161\u010di sta ponudili iskren in zanimiv vpogled v njene avtorske bele\u017eke, prva celo bolj kot druga, ampak nekolikanj bolj rockovska podoba druge je bila manj izumetni\u010dena kot je podoba tretje. Pri\u010dujo\u010do plo\u0161\u010do lahko poslu\u0161amo, a se vpra\u0161amo, \u010de niso vse te stvari pred Margo povedale \u017ee druge umetnice in to bolj prepri\u010dljivo. Pri \u010demer ne dvomimo, da je uradni Nashville ne mara, ker si na svetem odru Rymana upa opozarjati na neprimernost rasizma. Klobuk dol! A hkrati: Margo, ajde o&#8217;ladi! Pri glasbi namre\u010d. Svoj izraz si na prvih dveh plo\u0161\u010dah imenitno zabele\u017eila. Iskanje in spreminjanje zvoka je brez dvoma pogumno dejanje, vse hvale vredno, \u010de so rezultati seveda dovolj dobri. A po ve\u010dkratnem poslu\u0161anju se nam \u0161e vedno zdi, da je tale slap \u017ee skorajda odtekel.
