In to je lahko te\u017eavna re\u010d, bedenje s preteklostjo, ki brez opozorila spro\u017ei trpko tveganje tudi glede prihodnosti \u201c<em>I am sick of being somewhere I can\u2019t stay\u201d. <\/em>Vsi namre\u010d poznamo leden ob\u010dutek nepripadanja, eksistencialnih pretresov, ljubezenskih padcev v brezna, nesli\u0161ne spuste na dno, skratka. \u00bbVsi poeti pi\u0161ejo svoje spomine, jaz pa \u0161e vedno pojem pesmi\u00ab, zakri\u010di v naslovni skladbi albuma. Zelo jasno se izkristalizira, da je Nickova osnovna preokupacija delanja muzike kako delati po\u0161teno umetnost. Ha! Obstaja danes v svetu ustvarjalnosti klju\u010dnej\u0161e vpra\u0161anje?! In \u010deprav je A Different Age nemara polna detektiranja nedolo\u010dljivosti svetobolja, aluzij na depresijo (Nick \u017ee dolgo trpi za anksiozno motnjo), samomorilne misli, tudi zato v <em>My Nights Are More Beautiful Than Your Days<\/em> razlije izvor vpra\u0161anj, ki so pred leti za\u010dele luknjati njegovo du\u0161evno zdravje. A Different Age je pravzaprav ne\u017een popis plazenja te ob\u010de bolezni po njegovem spominu, na ozadju filmskih klasik, s katerimi je pre\u017eivel mladost. To, kar po\u010dne ta ne\u017eni, neupogljivi mladeni\u010d, je dale\u010d od kak\u0161ne ekscentri\u010dnosti tipa, aha, naredil bom to tako in tako, samo zato, da bo bolj zanimivo. Njegova muzika te iz ob\u010dutkov melanholije popelje nazaj v obi\u010dajnost \u017eivljenja. Kar je ok.
