Postavili so druga\u010dne okvire za sve\u017e elektropop osemdesetih let, ki se je prej dogajal le v untergruntu. Bend je prihajal iz angle\u0161kega Basildona. Po prvih dveh albumih je zgradil nov <i>sound<\/i>, navdahnjen z godbo in zvokom \u00bbindustrijskih\u00ab skupin, uporabo elektronskih glasbil in \u00bbsempli\u00ab, anga\u017eiranimi pesmimi s socialnimi temami.<\/p>\n<p>Poznalo se je, da je bila njihova doma\u010da fonografska hi\u0161a Mute, ki se je v tistem \u010dasu ogledovala za glasbo skupin, kot so bile Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft (D.A.F.) in Laibach. Ples, ki ni bil ena sama brezbri\u017ena svetloba. Vse skupaj je s svojo tonsko produkcijo oblo\u017eil dubovski producent Adrian Sherwood. Obdajala ga je prekaljena londonska studijska ekipa, v kateri so bili Doug Wimbish (bas), Keith LeBlanc (bobni) in Skip McDonald (elektri\u010dna kitara). Ta trojka je bila zraven pri prvih prelomnih korakih hiphopa v New Yorku (Sugarh Hill Records) in pri oblikovanju ekipe O-Nu Sound in njenih hi\u0161nih bendov, kakor je bil Tackhead. Drobno napotilo, leta pozneje je ta trojka sestavila blues-dub bend Little Axe, parkrat sli\u0161an pri nas.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Stewart je ta album in bend naredil sredi najhuj\u0161ega thatcherizma v Britaniji. Dubovska forma je zmiksana s punkovsko dr\u017eo.
